Open shelves with a distinct silhouette.
TOURELLE is an open glass shelving unit for books, display objects and everyday essentials. The straight model provides rectangular compartments; the sloping version becomes shallower towards the top. The corner shelf uses a room corner with curved quarter-circle shelf fronts.
Five heights, a straight version, two sloping widths and a quarter-circle corner shelf create 20 size and shape combinations. All appear in the dimension overview. Compare Floatglas and Optiwhite by their natural tint and appearance in your room.

Choose the shape and width for your space
The straight model measures 50 × 35 cm. The corner shelf has a 35 × 35 cm footprint; sloping versions are 35 or 50 cm wide with 35 cm depth at the base. Every shape comes in heights of 71, 104, 137, 170 or 203 cm. Sloping shelves become shallower towards the top.

Choose 71, 104, 137, 170 or 203 cm. On the sloping version, shelf depth reduces towards the top, so check your intended books and objects against each level.
Glass and floor contact
10 mm thick Floatglas or Optiwhite, permanently bonded with polished edges. Transparent protective rails are available for stone, tiles and other hard floors.
Three forms, each with its own purpose.
The straight version is 50 cm wide and 35 cm deep. Sloping models are 35 or 50 cm wide, with 35 cm depth at the base reducing towards the top. The corner shelf has two glass side panels at right angles and shelves with quarter-circle fronts. Each form has its own construction.
Every version is made from 10 mm thick glass. The vertical sides extend to the floor, with the lowest shelf slightly above it. There are no doors, metal feet or additional clips. The shelves form part of the open, permanently bonded structure.
The character of the glass makes the difference.
Floatglas has a natural green tint, most noticeable along its polished edges. Optiwhite appears more neutral across the glass surface, with a subtle pale turquoise edge. Both clear glass options keep the view through the cabinet open.
Glass thickness, panel size, lighting and surroundings affect the appearance. Larger and particularly deeper panels can have darker-looking edges. A sample in the intended position helps you choose. The illustration offers a visual guide; the glass options available for TOURELLE are shown below.

Straight and sloping TOURELLE shelves pair with the ROTON side table or QUADRO coffee table in a living room. The sloping front becomes shallower towards the top. The corner model has two separate glass sides at right angles and open quarter-circle shelves. We can also make a version made to measure.

Depending on overall height, the top depth of the sloping shelves is 27, 23, 19, 15 or 11 cm. The taller the model, the shallower the upper shelf. Check which books or objects you intend to place on each level.
Clear glass lets wall colour and light show through the shelving. Leave space between objects to retain this openness. For consistent storage depth, choose the straight model. We can discuss loading and individual shelf spacing when planning a bespoke unit.

The delivery team carries your furniture to its intended place, unpacks it, completes any necessary assembly and removes the packaging. We arrange the delivery appointment with you. Customs clearance for Switzerland and Liechtenstein is included.
