Turn the screen towards the seat you use

A screen shared between a sofa and an armchair does not always need to face the same way. A rotating glass TV stand can change the viewing direction without moving your seating. Choose the mechanism around the screen and the space it needs to turn.

The designs work in different ways. Compare a stainless steel turning element with a rotating TV plate on a glass trolley. The exact version, equipment weight and cable route belong in the plan from the start.

THREE THINGS TO CHECK

  • Identify which part turns
  • Allow room for the moving screen
  • Plan the cable route with the movement

01 · A CLOSER LOOK

Check which part of the furniture turns

JANUS XX uses a stainless steel turning element. JANUS XXX adds a rotating TV plate to a wheeled rack, while VISION II turns the plate above its shelves. These arrangements do not move every component in the same way.

Decide whether you want to turn just the screen or change the position of the whole unit as well. A castor lets the furniture roll; it is not a substitute for checking the selected swivel mechanism.

02 · A CLOSER LOOK

Leave room for the screen and its cables

The screen’s corners travel beyond the footprint of the furniture as it turns. Mark that outline as well as the stand’s width and depth. Check nearby walls, curtains, lamps and anything stored on the top.

A cable route needs enough movement without pulling at the connections or catching on the furniture. Discuss the intended angle for JANUS XX or VISION II with us. A stated 360-degree mechanism does not mean a connected screen should keep turning repeatedly in one direction.

03 · A CLOSER LOOK

Compare the shelves below the screen

A rotating TV plate still sits above an equipment arrangement. JANUS XX has clear spaces of 19 cm below and 15 cm above; JANUS XXX has 19 cm and 13.5 cm. Compare these with devices, connected plugs and their ventilation requirements.

DIOGENES II, III and IV offer different heights and shelf arrangements. The versions without the extra rotating plate have other outside dimensions. Choose the complete configuration for the devices you use, rather than rotation alone.

Questions about rotating glass tv stands

Open a question for a short answer and a link to the relevant model.

It depends on the design. JANUS XX uses a stainless steel turning element. JANUS XXX and VISION II have a rotating TV plate above their equipment shelves. Confirm the complete arrangement and the parts that move for the chosen version.

JANUS XX is described with 360-degree rotation, and DIOGENES lists a 360-degree rotating plate for the selected versions. Check the specified mechanism for the exact model. Walls, equipment and connected cables also limit the movement you can use in the room.

No. DIOGENES II at 70 × 45 × 46 cm has the additional rotating plate. DIOGENES II o at 52 × 45 × 42 cm omits it. The taller III and IV formats also have corresponding versions with and without the turning plate.

JANUS XXX, VISION II and the DIOGENES TV trolleys stand on castors. Rotation and rolling are separate functions, so compare the complete version, floor requirements and cable route before choosing.

Check the screen body, foot spacing, base depth and weight, not just its diagonal. JANUS XX is 110 × 37 cm as standard, while VISION II is 70 × 45 cm. The feet need a suitable support surface and the screen needs clearance through the intended turning angle.

Send us the screen model, weight, dimensions and the viewing positions you want to use. Tell us whether a JANUS XX, JANUS XXX or VISION layout is the closest starting point. We check the turning mechanism, support and cable access before quoting the design.
