A clear surface, with the small things put away

Keys, chargers and a pile of post can quickly take over a console top. A drawer keeps them close without leaving everything on display. The right layout depends on what you store and how often you reach for it.

Some designs leave open space beneath a row of drawers; others provide a taller chest. Compare the overall dimensions, drawer arrangement and finish before choosing a piece for the hallway or living room.

01 · A CLOSER LOOK

Measure the drawers as well as the furniture

The outside width does not tell you how much usable drawer space you have. If a folder, organiser or particular object must fit, ask us for the internal drawer dimensions of the version you are considering.

Also leave room to stand in front of the furniture with a drawer open. FLY is 36 cm deep; FLAIR is 35 cm deep in its standard console versions. The opening space is additional to those closed dimensions.

02 · A CLOSER LOOK

A console or a drawer chest?

FLY keeps its drawer element above open floor space. FUSION WOOD stacks four drawers vertically and is 101 cm high. LISBOA offers a lower, broader chest or a taller version with a smaller width.

A chest may suit items that need separate compartments. A console may be enough for keys, glasses and a charging cable. Compare the actual drawer layout and reach height rather than the model name alone.

03 · A CLOSER LOOK

Choose the drawer surface for the room

Lacquered MDF on FLY gives an opaque colour without visible grain. Solid oak or walnut changes the look of the drawer element. On FUSION, lacquered glass covers the drawer element, with glossy color or matt velvet color finishes.

Push/pull opening lets you open a drawer by pressing the front. It is not automatically a promise of soft-close. Check the opening mechanism for the exact version, particularly when comparing the different FLAIR formats.

Questions about glass console tables with drawers

Open a question for a short answer and a link to the relevant model.

The category includes FLY, FLAIR, LISBOA, FUSION WOOD and FUSION. Their storage layouts differ: FLY places a drawer element above open space, while FUSION and FUSION WOOD have four drawers arranged vertically.

FLY starts at 56 × 36 cm, with 75 or 85 cm height. FUSION WOOD offers a 44 × 40 × 101 cm version. The narrower chest is taller and deeper, so compare all three dimensions and the drawer opening space.

FLY offers lacquered MDF, oak or walnut drawer elements. FLAIR and LISBOA use solid wood. FUSION has a drawer element clad in lacquered glass, while FUSION WOOD uses oak, walnut or spruce in Vintage finishes. The construction is more useful to compare than the label glass console alone.

FUSION and FUSION WOOD have four drawers. LISBOA offers four or six across its standard versions. FLY and FLAIR use different drawer arrangements according to the chosen size. Check the exact layout and internal dimensions before ordering.

No. Push/pull describes how you open a drawer by pressing the front. It does not by itself specify a soft-close mechanism. FLY and FUSION WOOD list push/pull opening; ask us about any additional requirement for the exact version you want.

Start with the closest standard FLY or FLAIR version and send us your requested dimensions, the items you want to store and the proposed drawer layout. We check what works with the glass and drawer construction before quoting.
