DREIECK DESIGN · MADE IN GERMANY SINCE 1984
Wood grain you can see, with glass around it
A wood drawer changes the character of a glass console. Grain and colour become part of the room, while the glass sides or base keep the surrounding floor visible. How much wood you see depends on the construction.
Our glass and wood consoles are made in Germany. Compare oak, walnut and the textured spruce finishes offered on selected designs, then look at the surface treatment alongside your flooring and other furniture.

Models to compare
The photographs show particular versions. Choose the dimensions and finish on the product page for the price of your configuration.
FLY · a wood element within clear glass
Solid oak or walnut drawers supported by a glass back. FLY uses a matt lacquered wood finish. Widths range from 56 to 162 cm, at 36 cm depth and a choice of 75 or 85 cm height.
FLAIR · oiled wood between glass sides
An oiled oak or walnut body between clear Optiwhite sides. The 120 cm console is 35 cm deep and 77 cm high. The wood is more prominent than on a console with just a small wood detail.
LISBOA · a wood body on a glass base
Oiled oak or walnut with solid oak drawer interiors. A clear 15 mm Optiwhite base supports the body. Compare the lower 90 cm version with the taller 60 cm version to suit your storage and wall space.

01 · A CLOSER LOOK
Match the finish, not just the wood name
Oak on FLY is matt lacquered; FLAIR offers oiled oak. The same wood species can therefore look and feel different across the two constructions. Natural grain also varies from one piece to the next.
If the console will stand beside a dining table or a wood floor, compare samples in the room where possible. A photograph is useful for choosing a direction, but it is not a precise colour match.
02 · A CLOSER LOOK
Look at what is inside a walnut drawer
Walnut gives the outer element a darker, more varied grain. On the walnut versions of FLY, FLAIR, LISBOA and FUSION WOOD, the drawer interiors are oak. A walnut exterior does not mean that every internal part is walnut.
Also compare the glass around the wood. FLAIR uses clear Optiwhite side panels. LISBOA places a clear Optiwhite base beneath the body, so its glass plays a different part in the design.
03 · A CLOSER LOOK
When a textured wood surface suits the room
FUSION WOOD offers spruce in Vintage Amber or Vintage Grey alongside oak and walnut. The textured surface has a different character from a smooth oiled drawer. Choose it for the surface itself, rather than expecting it to match walnut.
Follow the care guidance for the wood finish as well as the glass. Apply a suitable glass cleaner to the cloth, keep it away from wood joints and do not use the same cleaner across every material without checking.

Not necessarily. The walnut versions of FLY, FLAIR, LISBOA and FUSION WOOD have oak drawer interiors. The visible exterior and the internal drawer construction should be checked separately.
