An open glass cube.
JANUS V is an all-glass side table with a 45 cm cubic outline. Its top, offset inner shelf and open sides provide useful surfaces while preserving views through the design.
The 15 mm glass panels meet in mitred joints. This construction defines Helmut Koppenhagen’s designer glass side table, without a metal frame or separate shelf supports.
A bespoke glass cube is also possible. We make JANUS V to measure and tailor the shelves to your room.
Compact overall dimensions
Dimensions of 45 × 45 × 45 cm give the model balanced outer proportions. The inner shelf complements the top and is accessible from the side.
Two transparent options
Floatglas has a greenish tint. Optiwhite has less inherent colour, with a subtle grey-turquoise accent along the edges.
Joints that define the design
Mitred joints connect the right-angled glass panels. Staggered levels divide the interior, while open sides provide views through the table and access to its shelves.

A difference in natural tint.
Floatglas has a greenish tint, particularly visible along its bevelled and polished edges. Optiwhite looks more colour-neutral; its clear edges retain a subtle tint.
Material selection applies to the glass structure. Any other components retain the materials described for this model.

The clear glass surfaces remain transparent, smooth and glossy.

At 45 cm high, JANUS V suits lower seating arrangements. Check the space for its 45 × 45 cm footprint and access to the inner shelf. Position the open side within reach of your intended seat.
The inner glass shelf sits beneath the top and is reached through the open side. Choose the most convenient direction of access when positioning the table.

Delivered to its intended place in your home. Our free premium delivery service applies to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Liechtenstein, subject to our delivery terms.
We carry your furniture to its intended position, unpack it, complete any necessary assembly and positioning, and take away the packaging. We arrange the delivery date with you.
The published customs clearance services for Switzerland and Liechtenstein are included. The current lead time is shown in the configurator. Please contact us for delivery to other countries or advice on particular access requirements.
