Storage that appears to float.
A clear glass structure with drawers that seem to float inside it: FLY TV combines the lightness of glass with enclosed storage. Remote controls and accessories disappear behind handle-free fronts, while the transparent body keeps the surrounding room in view.
With widths of 91, 127 or 162 cm, FLY TV can be matched to your television and available space. All three versions are 36 cm deep and 45 cm high. The open shelf above the drawers has 8.5 cm clear height; the push/pull mechanism opens the fronts without visible handles.
Precisely finished glass edges and a construction tailored to each model reveal the quality of the materials. More than 40 years of experience in glass furniture inform its development and manufacture.
Another perspective
In the film: FLY TV 127 · Optiwhite clear · MDF Jet Black.
Clear glass supports the storage.
The 10 mm glass body has mitred joints. The drawer unit is fixed to the clear glass back panel; an elongated cable opening routes connections to the rear. The design has no additional base plate or visible legs.
MDF has a silk-matt lacquer finish. Solid oak and walnut retain their natural grain beneath a matt finish made with a particularly environmentally friendly lacquer. The MDF and walnut versions have solid oak drawer interiors.
Six combinations. One clear form.
The glass changes the character.
Floatglas has a green tint. This is particularly visible along the bevelled and polished edges. Optiwhite has less inherent colour and a more colour-neutral appearance; its clear edges retain a subtle grey-turquoise tint.
The FLY TV body and back panel always remain clear. Compare Floatglas and Optiwhite with MDF, oak or walnut drawers. The illustrations show FLY TV 127, with the MDF unit in Anthracite grey.
MDF · silk matt
Silk-matt lacquered MDF with solid oak drawer interiors. The example shows Anthracite grey; the colour can be chosen independently of the glass type.
Oak · matt lacquered
Solid oak with its natural grain, finished with a particularly environmentally friendly matt lacquer.
Walnut · matt lacquered
Solid walnut with solid oak interiors. The wood surfaces have a matt finish made with a particularly environmentally friendly lacquer.
Choosing your colour
The ten standard colours apply to the silk-matt lacquered MDF drawer unit. They are independent of the clear glass body: pale MDF colours can also be combined with Floatglas.
Your own colour
Special colours, for example from RAL, NCS or Sikkens, are available at an additional cost. Compare a physical colour sample with your furniture and lighting.
Standard colours at a glance
Colour swatches are a guide; use a physical sample to confirm your choice.
Material illustrations are a guide, rather than original photographs or binding colour and material samples. Lighting, glass thickness, surroundings and your screen affect their appearance.
A light presence against the wall.
Check the width of your TV base and your preferred screen height from your seat. The 36 cm deep glass structure has a discreet presence; the drawer unit adds a calm area of colour or the warmth of natural wood.
Allow space in front for the drawers to open. Equipment on the open shelf must fit within its 8.5 cm clear height, including connectors and the ventilation space specified by the equipment manufacturer. Bespoke widths, layouts and materials are available to suit your room.
