A clear form for a compact workspace.
JANUS T is a small glass desk with a 100 × 60 cm worktop. Two full glass side panels and the top form its simple outline. The 15 mm glass has mitred joints, creating a compact desk with just a few surfaces and an open view through the room.
A work area in the living room, a writing space in a guest room or a place for your laptop: JANUS T fits a variety of settings. The standard height is 75 cm. Choose clear Floatglas or Optiwhite, glossy Color or matt Samtcolor. Colour and transparency change the appearance of the whole desk.
We make your table in our workshop in Germany. We can also discuss your preferred dimensions, height and finish with you personally.
A compact worktop
At 100 cm wide and 60 cm deep, the top provides a compact work area. Arrange a laptop, notebook and lamp to suit the way you work.
Full glass side panels
The two glass sides support the top. Precise mitred joints define the upper corners, without an additional metal frame.
Clear or coloured
Clear glass keeps the surroundings visible. Color creates a glossy coloured surface; Samtcolor has a soft matt finish. White and other light lacquer colours use Optiwhite.
Three surfaces. Precisely joined.
The horizontal top and two full glass sides meet in mitred joints along the upper edges. These corners are angular rather than curved. The glass thickness of 15 mm is visible at the finished edges.
The glass side panels form the base, leaving the centre open beneath the worktop. Lacquer is applied to the inner surfaces. Color stays smooth and glossy outside; Samtcolor has an additional satin finish on the outer surfaces for a matt appearance.
The difference is in the glass tint.
Floatglas has a distinctive green tint, particularly at its polished edges. Optiwhite looks more neutral across the surface, with a subtle pale turquoise tint at the clear edges. Both glass types remain transparent.
Glass thickness, tabletop size, lighting and surroundings all affect its appearance. A larger or deeper top can have darker-looking edges. A sample in the intended position helps you choose. The illustration offers a visual guide; the finishes available for JANUS T are shown below.
Choose the materials for your room.
JANUS T is available in Floatglas and Optiwhite, each clear, in Color or in Samtcolor. The lacquer finish covers the entire glass body. Six illustrations show the available combinations.
Clear
Floatglas with distinctive green colouring at the polished edges. Clear, smooth and glossy.
Optiwhite with a more neutral appearance and subtle pale turquoise edges. Clear, smooth and glossy.
Color
Floatglas with opaque Anthracite Grey RAL 7016 lacquer on the inside. The outer glass surface is smooth and glossy.
Optiwhite with opaque Pure White RAL 9010 lacquer on the inside. The outer glass surface is smooth and glossy.
Samtcolor
Floatglas with opaque Anthracite Grey RAL 7016 lacquer inside and a satin-finished outer surface for a soft matt appearance.

Colour swatches are a guide. Use a material sample to judge the actual finish.
Colour in your own light.
White and other light lacquer colours on glass use Optiwhite. Floatglas is available in the darker lacquer colours shown.
Your preferred shade.
We will discuss your preferred shade with you. Other available colours, for example from RAL, NCS or Sikkens, can be made at an additional charge.
Material illustrations are for guidance. They are not original photographs or binding colour and material samples. Lighting, glass thickness, surroundings and your screen affect how the materials appear.
A place for your thoughts.
A small glass desk can fit easily into an established room. At 100 × 60 × 75 cm, JANUS T creates a place for writing, reading or a laptop. Against a wall it can remain discreet; freestanding, its glass sides become more prominent. A visually light chair complements the open centre.
Plan around the equipment you actually use. A laptop needs a different arrangement from a separate screen and keyboard; lighting and papers should remain within easy reach. We can adapt the width, depth, height and colour of JANUS T to your requirements.
The finish changes the character.
In clear glass, light, edges and overlapping surfaces reveal the simple form. Wall colour and flooring remain visible, helping a work area sit quietly within a living room. A lacquered version introduces a more defined coloured surface.
Color reflects light and objects on its smooth outer surface. Samtcolor diffuses light through an additional satin finish for a more matt effect. Consider the shade alongside your chair, textiles and nearby furniture; a sample shows it in your own lighting.

Free delivery.
Our premium delivery service is free in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Liechtenstein.
The delivery team carries your table to its intended position, unpacks it, completes any required assembly and takes away the packaging. We arrange the delivery date with you. Customs clearance for Switzerland and Liechtenstein is also included.
