A bedside drawer gives glasses, notebooks and small everyday objects a place of their own. The top can then hold the lamp and the things you reach for most often. What matters is how the drawer fits your belongings and opens from beside the bed.

PURE · a lacquered glass front

The transparent outer body surrounds an internally lacquered glass drawer. Push/pull opening keeps the front free of a projecting handle. Standard outside dimensions: 48 × 42 × 55 cm.

PURE FLY · support from the glass back

The drawer appears suspended within the clear construction. Choose lacquered MDF or a solid wood version. The complete freestanding nightstand measures 55 × 41 × 55 cm.

A wood handle in oak or walnut above dark grey Parsol glass. The drawer has a solid oak interior, and the furniture stands on castors. Standard size: 65 × 39 × 50 cm.

01 · A CLOSER LOOK

One drawer, three drawers or an open compartment?

Lay out what you want to store before choosing. A glasses case, a thick book and a larger charger need different space from loose small objects. Outside furniture dimensions do not tell you the usable drawer dimensions.

FLAIR’s open compartment keeps a book within reach while the drawer hides smaller things. The three-drawer version gives a different arrangement within the same outside size. Ask about internal dimensions if a particular item needs to fit.

02 · A CLOSER LOOK

A handle or push/pull opening?

PURE, PURE FLY, PURE WOOD and FLAIR offer push/pull opening. PIANO has a visible wood handle. Check where your hand will reach the front when you are sitting or lying in bed.

Push/pull describes the opening action. It does not by itself confirm a soft-close mechanism. If that feature matters to you, ask us about the fittings for the particular model and version.

03 · A CLOSER LOOK

Leave space for the open drawer

Measure the gap beside the bed and the clear space in front of the drawer. A projecting bed frame or thick duvet can obstruct the front. Check the position of nearby wardrobe doors and sockets too.

PURE is 48 cm wide; FLAIR is 52 cm wide and 35 cm deep. Compare the complete footprint and mattress height before choosing the smaller measurement. For a tighter space, we can assess a made-to-measure request.

Questions about glass nightstands with drawers

FLAIR is available with three drawers. The alternative has one drawer above an open compartment. Both have standard outside dimensions of 52 × 35 × 52 cm.

The clear outer glass does not mean that the drawer is transparent. PURE has an internally lacquered glass drawer. PURE WOOD has a solid wood drawer, and PURE FLY offers wood or lacquered MDF drawer elements.

PURE has the smallest standard width here at 48 cm. FLAIR is 52 cm wide but is shallower at 35 cm. Check the height, opening clearance and usable storage as well as the width.

No. On models such as PURE, push/pull describes the opening action. A damped closing mechanism is a separate feature. Ask us to confirm the fittings if soft-close is part of your requirements.

Compare the top of your mattress and topper with the standard model height. PURE FLY is 55 cm high. If you need a different height, send us the required dimensions so we can check the construction and prepare a quotation.

DREIECK DESIGN is a family business founded in 1984. Our furniture is made in Germany. For a different size, send us the model and the dimensions you need. We check what is possible for that construction and prepare a quotation.

Allow around 6–8 weeks for delivery within Europe; worldwide destinations can take longer. Confirm the current schedule for your configuration and address.

Premium delivery is included for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Liechtenstein under the published conditions. For the UK, the USA and other destinations, ask us about the service and charges.
