A wood surface where you want to put things down
Wood can give a glass side table a tray to carry, a lid to lift or a place for a book and a drink. The glass remains visible around it, so the amount of grain in the room depends on which part is made from wood.
COPAIN has a removable tray, CASKET closes a storage compartment with a solid wood lid, and TRAY adds castors. Choose the function first, then compare oak and walnut.

COPAIN · a removable oak or walnut tray
The partly solid wood tray sits above a clear glass support and can be lifted away. The standard size is 40 × 40 × 57 cm; Floatglass and Optiwhite glass are offered.
CASKET · a solid wood lid over storage
A solid oak or walnut lid above a lacquered glass compartment. At 30 × 30 × 56 cm, CASKET gives small everyday items a place of their own beside the chair.
TRAY · wood trays on a rolling glass table
The side-table version measures 50 × 40 × 56 cm. Its partly solid wood trays are removable, and the lacquered glass base sits on castors for hard and soft floors.

Oak or walnut beside your existing furniture?
Oak usually brings a lighter grain into the room, while walnut gives a darker contrast. They do not need to match every other wood surface exactly. Compare their undertones near the sofa, floor and shelving.
CASKET puts a relatively small area of solid wood on top of the table. The broader tray on COPAIN makes more of the grain visible. Ask for a sample if a close colour match matters.

A lid and a serving tray do different jobs
Lifting CASKET’s lid opens the compartment beneath it. COPAIN’s tray can carry items away from the table. If you will serve drinks, check where you can put the tray down and how easily you can lift it from beside the seat.
The material descriptions also differ: CASKET has a solid wood lid; COPAIN and TRAY have partly solid wood trays. None is a table made entirely from solid timber.
03 · A CLOSER LOOK
Moving the table and caring for the surfaces
TRAY has castors, which can help when you change the position beside the sofa. Check the route across your actual floor, including rug edges and thresholds, and follow the instructions for moving the table.
Use the care guidance for each surface. Wipe up spills on the wood promptly, and put glass cleaner on a cloth so it does not run onto the wood or into its joints.

DREIECK DESIGN is a family business founded in 1984. Our furniture is made in Germany. For a different size, send us the model and the dimensions you need. We check what is possible for that construction and prepare a quotation.
Allow around 6–8 weeks for delivery within Europe; worldwide destinations can take longer. Confirm the current schedule for your configuration and address.
Premium delivery is included for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Liechtenstein under the published conditions. For the UK, the USA and other destinations, ask us about the service and charges.
